Established in 1998 by Bhausaheb Joshi, this museum is the only one of its kind in India. It features a fully functional, automated miniature railway system that demonstrates complex rail operations through various landscapes. The museum is a private initiative that has gained international recognition for its precision and educational value.
The museum houses an intricate layout of HO scale (1:87) miniature trains, including steam engines, diesel locomotives, and high-speed trains. The collection also includes detailed models of station buildings, tunnels, bridges, and urban landscapes integrated with functional signals and tracks.
The museum features a specialized "sound and light" show that narrates the history and evolution of railways while synchronizing the movement of 65 signals, 26 points, and various trains across a 2,000-square-foot layout.
