Established in 2020, the Government Museum Baran is located in the old civil lines of Baran, Rajasthan. It is housed in the former Divisional Magistrate’s bungalow, which was transferred to the Department of Archaeology and Museums in 2008 to preserve the scattered sculptures and antiquities of the Hadoti region.
The museum houses a diverse collection including stone sculptures, miniature paintings, traditional weapons, and decorative arts. It also features a photographic gallery documenting the numerous forts and ancient temple sites across the Baran district, such as Kakuni and Shahbad.
A significant collection of 10th-century sculptures from the Bhand Devra Temple (often called the "Mini Khajuraho of Rajasthan"), which is situated within a major meteorite impact crater at Ramgarh. Bilasgarh Antiquities: Sculptures recovered from the ruins of Bilasgarh, a city historically noted for its destruction during the Mughal era.
