Established in 1985, the District Museum Haflong serves as the primary repository for the cultural and historical heritage of the Dima Hasao district. It is dedicated to documenting the socio-cultural life of the indigenous tribes inhabiting the North Cachar Hills.
The collection includes traditional tribal costumes, agricultural implements, hunting tools, and handloom products. It also features a significant section dedicated to local archaeological finds and natural history specimens.
Neolithic Artifacts: A collection of stone tools and handmade pottery recovered from the Daojali Hading site, providing evidence of early human habitation in the region.
