Inaugurated in 1983, this two-storey museum is named after Subedar Darwan Singh Negi, the first Indian soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross during World War I. The building itself is a heritage structure located near the Parade Ground.
The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts spanning the pre-independence and post-independence eras. It includes rare photographs of Army generals, historical battle scenes, and detailed chronicles of the regiment's role in major global conflicts.
War Trophies & Rare Documents: Highlights include captured enemy weaponry from the Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971, as well as citations and certificates signed by British royalty. A dedicated section showcases the Victoria Cross and other high-gallantry awards.
