Museum Introduction

Established in 2014 to commemorate the birth centenary of Dajikaka Gadgil, the driving force behind P.N. Gadgil (PNG) Jewellers. Located on the 3rd floor of a flagship showroom, it narrates the history of gold refinement and the growth of the Gadgil business empire through an audio-guided experience.

General Collections

The museum features a large gallery containing biographical murals, information panels on gold mining and export, and audiovisual displays. It utilizes a unique lighting system and high-end exhibit design to create a "luxurious aura" around the subject of gold.

Unique Historical Collections

Gold Purification Narrative: A unique sequence of 10 audiovisual screens that juxtapose the scientific process of gold refinement with the personal life trials and successes of Dajikaka Gadgil. It also preserves original business records and family memorabilia.
