Inaugurated in 2016 and located at the highest point of Jaipur within the historic Nahargarh Fort, the Jaipur Wax Museum is the first of its kind to be situated in a heritage site. It was established to pay tribute to the icons of India and the world through lifelike wax and silicone sculptures, set within the restored galleries of the fort.
The museum is divided into distinct sections, including the Hall of Icons, which features wax figures of national heroes, sports stars, and Bollywood celebrities. The Royal Darbar section is dedicated to the majestic history of the Rajput kings and queens of Rajasthan.
Features the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), a breathtaking gallery created using over 2.5 million pieces of hand-cut glass and thikri work, reviving the 18th-century art of glass inlay. It also houses the Journey of the Jaipur Gadi, which chronicles the lineage of the Jaipur royal family.
