Located at 1, Safdarjung Road, this museum was the former residence of Indira Gandhi, the first female Prime Minister of India. Following her assassination in 1984, the bungalow was converted into a memorial to preserve her legacy and document the history of the Indian independence movement and the Nehru-Gandhi family.
A wide range of personal belongings, including her books, photographs, and furniture. The museum features several rooms preserved exactly as they were during her lifetime, alongside extensive photographic exhibits chronicling the political history of modern India.
Features the blood-stained saree worn by Indira Gandhi at the time of her assassination. It also preserves the crystal-enclosed path where she took her final steps, marked with the exact spot where she fell.
