The institution aims to inculcate scientific temper through interactive "edutainment" and hands-on explorations of technological concepts.
The centre houses several permanent galleries including the 'Fun Science Gallery', 'Mirror Magic', and 'Science of Oceans'. The outdoor Science Park features life-size prehistoric animal models and large-scale interactive physical science exhibits.
