Established in the historic residence of Haji Abdulla Saheb, the founder of Corporation Bank, the museum chronicles the evolution of Indian banking and currency. It was officially converted into a heritage museum to preserve the legacy of the bank since its inception in 1906.
The museum houses a vast collection of over 1,400 coins and various currency notes. It also features a significant philatelic section with a wide array of postage stamps documenting India's postal history.
Ancient & Medieval Coinage: Features rare coins dating back to 400 BC, including specimens from the Maurya, Kushan, Satavahana, and Gupta empires. It also contains an extensive series of Mughal-era coins and regional coinage from the Vijayanagara and Maratha periods.
